Upon arriving at Bertelsen Winery you will notice our abundant vineyard filled with Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, and Madeleine Angevine  grapes. Located within the Puget Sound AVA (American Viticulture Area) appellation, our vines were carefully selected and planted into the hillside of Skagit Valley's most fertile soil. These grapes are protected by the surrounding foothills off the Cascade Range, where they bask in the long summer sun until plump, sweet, and ready for harvest

Our varietals represent grapes from five Washington State appellations:

  • Columbia Valley
  • Yakima Valley
  • Walla Walla Valley
  • Wahluke Slope
  • Red Mountain
